| • | 03/02/2010 Colin Boyle's Funeral Details The League have been given his Funeral details if anyone wishes to attend: Funeral:- WEDNESDAY 10TH FEBRUARY @ 15:30 Hrs LODGE HILL CREMATORIUM, Weoley Park Road, Birmingham, B29 5AA After Service:TOWN CRIER PUB, 34 McDonald Street, Birmingham B5 6TG It has been requested that instead of flowers they would appreciate donations which will be forwarded to cancer research. (See Brian for more details) COMMITTEE SUGGESTION:-Can all Captains respectfully hold a minutes silence prior to all games commencing 8th February2010. |
| • | Colin Boyle (Town Crier) Passes Away. The league has recently heard of the death of Colin who was the Captain of the Town Crier for the past 3 years and played pool for many a year. Colin, who passed away in the early weeks of January had battled with cancer for a long time. He was the quietest Captain that you would ever come across and this also showed in his normal day to day life. He will me sadly missed by many but always remembered. Funeral Details to Follow:- |

| • | Leon Valentine Death. It has come to the Leagues Knowledge that a very young player within the George V team suddenly passed away during the Christmas period. The loss of anyone is extremely distressing let alone someone so young. Id like to say on behalf of all of the Pool League it has come as a shock. "All of our thoughts are now with his family & friends as they come to terms with their loss. We'll be here for them if they need anything." The league requests that all venues hold a minutes silence before their games which commence 11th January 2010 All matches with the George are under revision and the captain has stated if they need to cancel any games he will be in touch Leons Funeral details have just been recieved. Leon's funeral is 13:45 on Monday 18th January at Woodlands Crematorium, Birmingham Road, Coleshill. . |
| • | DIVISION1 TEAM DROPPED OUT Rileys YRC pull out of the League with immediate effect December 13th. They will also be classed as a BYE in the Next Round of the TRUE IT Cup. All matches in the second half of the league will be classed as 9-0 to the awarded teams. |

| • | EPA 3 MAN TOURNAMENT Dont forget the EPA 3 Man Tournament entries These have to be in to the league secretary before the 30th December 2009 Comprises of regional heats then the grand finals (last 64) at the Vauxhall Park, Great Yarmouth. Prize Monies paid out to the last 64 and as of date the Money stands at approximatly £19,000 |
